RE/MAX names new president and has added new global sales leaders to strengthen franchise development and accelerate international expansion

RE/MAX has promoted Chris Lim to the role of president, and has added two strategic sales leaders as part of a broader effort to accelerate global expansion and strengthen franchise growth across its network.

Lim, who previously served as RE/MAX’s chief growth officer, will expand his leadership responsibilities to oversee global sales and franchise development initiatives while continuing to focus on driving agent recruitment, market expansion, and brand growth. His promotion reflects the company’s strategy to reinforce executive leadership and position the organization for long-term growth amid evolving real estate market conditions.

“RE/MAX has an iconic brand, an unmatched global network, and a tremendous opportunity to lead the industry forward,” Lim said in a statement, noting his focus on growth, innovation, and delivering value to affiliates worldwide.

Lim brings more than two decades of real estate leadership experience, including previous roles as president of Christie’s International Real Estate, and executive leadership positions at major brokerage organizations. He joined RE/MAX in early 2025 to help expand franchise operations and strengthen affiliate support, with a mandate to increase agent count and expand the company’s footprint.

As part of the leadership expansion, RE/MAX also appointed two new strategic sales executives to support regional growth and enhance franchise recruitment and retention efforts.

The additions of Pierre Montagna as vice president of global sales and Lisa Sennstrom as director of global sales are intended to strengthen alignment between the company’s global sales strategy and its local affiliate network, ensuring consistent execution across markets.

Montagna brings to RE/MAX experience scaling brands across cultures, fluency in five languages, and personal roots in real estate — including family members who are longtime agents and his own early career experience in New York City real estate — Montagna adds a unique blend of franchise development and global capabilities to the global sales team.

Sennstrom brings 16 years of experience in real estate sales, leadership, operations, and strategic consulting, including roles with Century 21, ERA Real Estate and, most recently, as VP of operations at JPAR Real Estate. She has supported multi-state portfolios, driven successful franchise transactions, and delivered measurable improvements in profitability, operational efficiency, and market share.
