Rocket Unveils ‘Own The Dream’ Manifesto Ad At March 5 NBA Game

Next chapter of ‘Own the Dream’ campaign seeks to drive the company’s homeownership message to American public
During the Cleveland Cavaliers versus Miami Heat NBA game at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time Wednesday evening, March 5, Rocket Companies is bringing the next phase of its “Own the Dream” campaign to life, looking to build on momentum the company sparked at this year’s Super Bowl.
In tandem with the Super Bowl ad the nation’s second-largest lender launched, Rocket also published its "Own the Dream" manifesto in the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal.
Now, Rocket will air a one-minute extended cut of the ad that premiered during the Super Bowl, featuring a partial narration of the manifesto the company published. “The American Dream isn’t dead, it’s just been out of reach,” viewers will hear in the new commercial.
The ad mentions Rocket’s various mortgage innovation programs, such as applying part of the last year’s rent toward home loan closing costs.
“This emotive spot narrates how the American Dream of homeownership has long felt out of reach for many, but asserts that the dream is very much alive,” the company stated regarding this latest ad.
Further, the company contended, “The manifesto powerfully conveys Rocket's commitment to making homeownership more accessible and achievable for all. Through imagery and a compelling narrative, the extended ad underscores Rocket's mission to help everyone home.”
