Sagent Names Two Executives To Support Expansion Of Mortgage Servicing Platform
Two industry veterans are appointed to executive roles as the company accelerates adoption of its Dara servicing platform.
Sagent, a mortgage servicing technology provider, said Thursday it had appointed two industry veterans to executive roles as the company accelerates adoption of its Dara servicing platform.
Art Calhoun was named vice president of strategic partnerships and Kim Warnica vice president of product marketing. Both will report to Perry Hilzendeger, Sagent’s executive vice president of strategic growth.
The hires come as Sagent continues the phased rollout of Dara, a cloud-based platform the company describes as the mortgage industry’s only modern end-to-end servicing system capable of managing all aspects of loan servicing at scale.
“As we accelerate our phased rollout of Dara by Sagent in 2025, we need top talent to articulate Dara’s value and integrate all the best partners into our Dara servicing systems of record,” said Geno Paluso, Sagent’s chief executive, in a statement.
Mr. Calhoun joins from Wells Fargo, where he was executive director of vendor oversight, responsible for contracts, risk assessments, and vendor performance in mortgage servicing. At Sagent, he will oversee partner programs and integration strategies designed to expand the platform’s open ecosystem.
Ms. Warnica previously held senior product marketing roles at New American Funding, Homepoint, and Rocket Mortgage. She will lead product marketing efforts across Dara’s core, default, and consumer servicing components, focusing on customer education and market share growth.
Sagent, based in King of Prussia, Pa., serves a U.S. mortgage servicing market valued at $14 trillion. The company positions Dara as a system built to unify real-time data, improve user experience for servicers and borrowers, and support integrations with third-party vendors.
