Title Resources Group Creates CTO Role, Hires MAXEX Tech Chief
Brian Ruzycki brings more than 20 years of mortgage, servicing, capital markets, and fintech experience to the title underwriter's newly created technology post
Title Resources Group is adding a chief technology officer to its executive ranks for the first time, hiring mortgage technology veteran Brian Ruzycki to lead the national title underwriter's technology organization.
Ruzycki joins TRG from MAXEX, where he most recently served as chief technology officer and led the company's technology platform, cloud infrastructure strategy, and artificial intelligence initiatives.
"The addition of a Chief Technology Officer is an important milestone for TRG, strengthening executive leadership in technology, governance, and innovation," TRG CEO Kevin Wall said. "Brian brings an exceptional combination of strategic vision, operational discipline, and technical expertise to our organization and will play a key role in helping us leverage technology to better serve customers and support employees."
The appointment also adds to an executive leadership team that has been evolving under Wall, who took over as TRG's CEO in July 2025. At the time of Wall's appointment, TRG said the company planned to build on its national footprint and continue investing in innovation and relationships with lenders and title agents.
Ruzycki's mortgage background extends well beyond MAXEX. He previously held senior technology leadership positions at RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing, Homeowners Financial Group, Fairway Independent Mortgage Corp., Carrington Mortgage Holdings, and Xome.
"I'm excited to join TRG and work alongside such a talented team," Ruzycki said. "I look forward to building on the strong foundation already in place and helping the organization continue to evolve and innovate."
TRG is one of the nation's largest title insurance underwriters, serving a network of independent title agents as well as affiliate partners that include Anywhere Real Estate, a subsidiary of Compass International Holdings; HomeServices of America, a Berkshire Hathaway affiliate; Lennar; and Opendoor Technologies.
