Veterans United Home Loans has promoted Jeremyah Grigery to chief marketing officer, putting the longtime company executive in charge of the VA lender’s broader marketing strategy and brand development.

Grigery will lead the evolution of Veterans United’s marketing organization across paid and organic channels, balancing performance-driven growth with longer-term efforts to strengthen the company’s brand and relationships with veterans and military families.

“Jeremyah has been instrumental in shaping how Veterans United shows up for the veterans and military families we serve,” Veterans United CEO Nate Long said. “He has paired sharp marketing instincts with a genuine commitment to our mission, building a team and a strategy that consistently set the standard in our industry.”

Grigery joined the Columbia, Missouri-based lender as an intern in 2012 and rose through the company’s marketing organization over the next 14 years. He most recently served as vice president of marketing.

His promotion comes as borrower education and brand visibility remain central to competition in VA lending. Veterans United’s latest buyer survey found that 43% of military-affiliated prospective buyers planned to purchase a home within six months, nearly twice the share of civilian respondents.

The company closed more than $26 billion in loans during fiscal 2025 and ranked as the nation’s largest VA purchase lender for the 10th consecutive fiscal year, according to Department of Veterans Affairs lender statistics.

“I’m honored to step into this role and to keep building on the work our team does every day,” Grigery said. “Our marketing strategy is simple — help veterans and military families learn about their hard-earned VA home loan benefits.”

Veterans United is a full-service national direct lender licensed in all 50 states. The company specializes in helping eligible veterans, active-duty service members, and military families access VA-backed home loans.

“Our marketing strategy is simple — help veterans and military families learn about their hard-earned VA home loan benefits,” Grigery said. “Everything we create is in service of helping veterans and their families achieve the American dream of homeownership.”
