Waterstone Mortgage Hires Branch Manager For New R.I. Location

National mortgage lender Waterstone Mortgage Corp. has announced the opening of a new branch in the greater Newport/Middletown, R.I., area, led by industry veteran Matt Fenster.

Fenster has nearly 20 years of experience in the mortgage lending industry. “Matt brings a great deal of experience, enthusiasm, and commitment to our customers,” said Waterstone Mortgage Senior Vice President – Chief Sales Officer Rich Harkwell. “We are excited to have him join our team, as he continues to expand our presence in the greater Newport market.”

The new Waterstone Mortgage office is located at 1 Corporate Place, 1st Floor, in Middletown, R.I. In the coming months, Fenster plans to expand the team by hiring several loan officers and support staff members, the company said.
