The company also funded more than $1.6 billion in loans, a 75 percent increase over the previous year's total. Fundings for the month of December set an all-time record, as Financial Freedom produced 2,133 loans, which was five percent above the companys previous record set in November of 2004. The popularity of reverse mortgages has also helped further increase Financial Freedom's total market share to 51 percent in units and to 55 percent in loan proceeds.
