Ellie Mae integrates MILA's DecisionPointmortgagepress.comDecisionPoint, automated underwriting system, ePass MILA Inc. has added DecisionPoint, its automated underwriting system, into Ellie Mae's ePASS (Electronic Processing and Submission System) software. MILA's addition will provide registered ePASS users with a larger network of lenders from which to choose through their specific loan origination software (LOS). The Ellie Mae ePASS system is a universal translator that enables different LOS programs to communicate clearly and quickly with lenders and settlement providers. Brokers can pull credit and title, order appraisals and deliver the complete loan file directly to DecisionPoint from any location. Upon doing so, the broker will be able to select their loan file while ePASS automatically re-configures the file to be compatible with MILA's DecisionPoint technology. After a broker submits their file to DecisionPoint, a loan commitment, complete with conditions, is generated in seconds. The loan is then dropped into AccessPoint, MILA's loan management system, for around-the-clock management functionality of all loans in the pipeline. For more information, visit www.mila.com.
