The mortgage includes an insurance feature that will repay all or a portion of the borrower's outstanding mortgage balance (up to $300,000) in the event of accidental death, permanent paralysis or dismemberment. In the case of multiple borrowers, the insurance feature applies to the first two co-borrowers listed on the mortgage application. Bank of America is a commercial bank based in Charlotte, N.C.
