Silver Hill announces promotions MortgagePress.comSalomon Wancier, Jorge Alvarez, David Smith, Jack Katsikos, Jonathon Mettel, Veronica Gomez, Tony Ettore, Juan Barcelo, Justin Kintz Silver Hill Financial LLC, a leading national real estate lender specializing in small-balance commercial loans, announces the promotion of several individuals on its management team. Salomon Wancier has been promoted to senior vice president of marketing communications. Since joining the company in 2004, Wancier has developed Silver Hill's marketing, training, technology and human resources teams to support the national lender's substantial growth. Jorge Alvarez has been promoted to vice president of risk management, responsible for analytics and overseeing Silver Hill's proprietary underwriting model and process. Alvarez joined Silver Hill in 2004 and created the risk management division in 2005. David Smith has been promoted to vice president. Since joining the company in 2004, Smith has led the planning and implementation of strategic initiatives to support Silver Hill's growth objectives, including development of the company's proprietary loan origination system. Jack Katsikos has been promoted to vice president of real estate. Katsikos joined Silver Hill in 2004, led the development of the company's real estate team and has overseen the evolution of the leading national lender's real estate policies. Jonathon Mettel has been promoted to vice president of sales, overseeing the Eastern half of the United States, including Silver Hill's Miami- and Chicago-based sales teams. Since joining Silver Hill in its first year of business in 2003, Mettel has contributed to sales growth while continuing to build strong relationships with broker partners and sales teams. Veronica Gomez, sales director, has been promoted to a new role reporting to Silver Hill's national sales manager, working closely with sales and operations management teams to spearhead initiatives across these functional areas of the company. Gomez joined Silver Hill in 2003. Tony Ettore has been promoted to sales director, managing sales teams for several states primarily in the South and Mid-Atlantic regions. Ettore joined Silver Hill in 2004 and was previously a senior account manager. Juan Barcelo has been promoted to sales director, responsible for sales teams in several South Atlantic and East North Central states. Barcelo was previously a senior account manager and has been with Silver Hill since 2004. Mettel, Gomez, Ettore and Barcelo are based in the company's Miami headquarters. Justin Kintz has been promoted to sales director, managing the California and Nevada sales teams supported operationally in Silver Hill's Denver office. Kintz was one of Silver Hill's first employees in 2003 and most recently served as senior account manager.
