Silver Hill dives into education: New commercial workshop, sponsor of Millionaire Originator TourMortgagePress.comCommercial Mortgage Broker continuing education Silver Hill Financial LLC, a leading national real estate lender specializing in small-balance commercial loans, announced the launch of its Advanced Commercial Workshop I, focused on giving mortgage professionals a more in-depth look at small-commercial transactions, the market and Silver Hill. The free workshops kicked off in Tampa with more than 100 attendees, and will continue in several key markets for the remainder of 2007 and 2008. Silver Hill's Advanced Commercial Workshop I gives mortgage professionals an understanding of the variables and factors that affect commercial mortgage rates, real estate, processing and underwriting functions, as well as how to apply focused marketing and sales strategies for success in the industry. The workshop is designed to supplement the lender's introductory series with the next level of detail—ideal for professionals who have begun to transact in commercial and want to grow their business, or are looking to leverage Silver Hill's small-commercial program for their clients. Since 2004, the company has reached thousands of mortgage professionals through hundreds of introductory small-balance commercial seminars across the country. According to Salomon Wancier, senior vice president of marketing and communications for Silver Hill, the time was right to offer more. "With broker interest in small-commercial at an all-time high, it was time to introduce an advanced course to explain the nuances of commercial transactions, the market and our program—all of which present an opportunity for mortgage professionals to diversify with commercial and really take their business to the next level. We're excited about [Tampa's] turnout and expect to reach hundreds more who can apply this valuable training for their long-term success," he said. Although mortgage professionals are encouraged to attend the workshops in person, Silver Hill is also offering the course online. "We are deeply committed to educating and training every individual that is interested in our program—from the residential mortgage professional who has never transacted in commercial to the commercial broker whose clients could benefit from Silver Hill's one-of-a-kind small-commercial program," said Wancier. In-person workshops will be available in select markets, including Houston; Sacramento, Calif.; Detroit; Orlando; Boston; Austin, Texas; Los Angeles; Atlanta; Miami; Irvine, Calif.; and Oakbrook, Ill. The workshops will also be available online once weekly. Interested mortgage professionals can view complete details and register online by visiting the "Events" page at www.silverhillfinancial.com. Silver Hill will also be sponsoring the ten-city Millionaire Originator Tour presented by Todd Duncan's Mortgage Mastery University. The one-day seminar will travel to ten U.S. cities through Wednesday, Oct. 24, teaching mortgage professionals the success strategies of top performers and how to master the skills of millionaire originators. The tour is presented in partnership with Silver Hill and will include training on diversification into small-commercial lending. Complete information is available at www.millionaireoriginators.com. Two prominent mortgage industry experts will headline the tour: Todd Duncan, acclaimed national sales and leadership trainer and New York Times bestseller, and Jim McMahan, a veteran originator and national industry speaker consistently recognized as one of the top 200 mortgage originators in America since 1992, with personal fundings exceeding $1.5 billion. The tour kicked off in Atlanta on Sept. 10; the Millionaire Originator Tour's single-day agenda begins at 8:00 a.m. with six 30-minute sessions on "The Art and Science of the Deal." Four afternoon sessions focus on "Systematic Wealth Creation," with the conclusion at 5:00 p.m. Action steps for expanding into small-commercial lending will also be highlighted. Silver Hill invites mortgage professionals to attend for a discounted partner registration fee of just $49.95. "The idea behind the Millionaire Originator Tour is to reach more mortgage professionals across the country, giving them the opportunity to learn top strategies that can transform their business—and doing it in just one day, for a minimal fee," said Duncan, chairman and CEO of The Duncan Group. "Everyone can say 'yes' to investing one day to learn proven techniques that will increase referrals, conversions and closings for five to 10 more fundings each month. We want to reach thousands who perhaps have not previously experienced this type of training from The Duncan Group or Mortgage Mastery University." Silver Hill's Salomon Wancier agrees. "The Millionaire Originator Tour is a tremendous opportunity for mortgage professionals to learn from two of the industry's best, live and in person. Todd and Jim are committed to helping other succeed by teaching time-tested strategies, and any mortgage professional can grow his practice by mastering these techniques. Attending one day of this tour is a smart choice for anyone who wants to stay ahead of the curve in today's market."
