Michigan industry appointments update - 11/5/2007

Steinert named director of business development for The Turning PointMortgagePress.comThe Turning Point The Turning Point Inc. has announced that Ryan Steinert has joined the company as its director of business development, based at the corporate head office in Sedona, Ariz. Ryan will be leading the expansion of The Turning Point's technology-driven Intelligent Marketing Solutions for mortgage bankers and brokers. He is also responsible for development of the company's training programs, strategic alliances and third-party relationships. "Coinciding with the launch of our latest product, Mach 3, we felt the timing was perfect to appoint someone to oversee our business development efforts," said CEO Stephen Margrett. "Ryan's background includes a unique blend of mortgage, sales, training and public relations which we believe will maximize our ability to grow on numerous levels." Steinert has more than eight years of experience in the mortgage industry, with an emphasis on sales and training. Most recently, he was the national sales trainer for 1st Metropolitan Mortgage. His responsibilities included providing sales training, business planning and production coaching to more than 1,300 originators and 250 managers across 48 states. Prior to working with 1st Metropolitan, Steinert was the vice president of national sales for Olympia Funding Inc. Steinert has a bachelor's degree in public communications/human relations.
