Interthinx battles fraud with film and classMortgagePress.comFraud Angels, mortgage fraud scams, online fraud training Interthinx has announced plans to release the advanced training film entitled "Fraud Angels." "Fraud Angels" was inspired by actual events and will parody a popular television series to deliver training material to today's financial institutions employees. "Fraud Angels" is scheduled to premiere in March 2008. Written by Emmy Award winner Mary E. Harris, "Fraud Angels" will involve two different and equally pervasive mortgage fraud scams that reach a crescendo as one large, potential crime against a single lender. Along with the film, Interthinx announced it is offering free online fraud training to the financial services. Introduction to Mortgage Document Fraud 100 is the first in a series of online, self-paced fraud training classes developed by the Interthinx team. This 30-minute class identifies red flags to fraud in all types of documents including suspect signatures, misuse of fax information, data misalignment and implausible dates, among other topics. Agoura Hills, Calif.-based Interthinx is a provider of risk mitigation and regulatory compliance tools for the financial services industry.
