Radian Guaranty launches unified loss management platformMortgagePress.comRadian Guaranty, IndiSoft LLC, mortgage software, Guardian Pro, RxOffice software Radian Guaranty, the mortgage insurance subsidiary of Radian Group Inc., has announced that it has signed an agreement with global software developer IndiSoft LLC to license the company's RxOffice software. Branded internally under the Guardian Pro name, the software will serve as the foundation for Radian's new unified loss management platform. A rules-based, internally facing software system, Guardian Pro will automate all of Radian's loss management processes, including work flows that were previously handled manually. One of the system's strengths is that it will provide early notification of cases that hold the most promise for resolution. Cam Melchiorre, senior vice president of loss management for Radian Guaranty, said the implementation of Guardian Pro would increase Radian's ability to help distressed homeowners and overburdened servicers. "The implementation of Guardian Pro represents an exciting evolution for Radian's loss management programs," he said. "As the basis of a unified platform, this software will improve the overall timeliness, quality and efficiency of our loss management efforts. "These are challenging times for the mortgage industry. Guardian Pro will allow Radian to increase our own workload, while at the same time, reduce the burden on our servicer clients, all centered around our mutual goal of helping as many distressed homeowners as possible remain in their homes. As part of its licensing agreement with IndiSoft, Radian has obtained a perpetual license for the software, which will run on the company's own servers.
