Karen Binder joins Integrated Mortgage Solutions as assistant VP

Integrated Mortgage Solutions (IMS), a collateral protection resource for the mortgage servicing industry, has named Karen Binder assistant vice president of marketing and special projects. In her new role, Binder will be responsible for the development and maintenance of marketing strategies, the effective management of advertising and promotional activities and the RFP protocol process. Additionally, she will be a key participant in operational, legal and compliance projects. IMS is the only woman owned national firm offering a seamless suite of secure integrated services for the management of distressed portfolios. “With industry regulations changing daily, mortgage servicers must rely on partners that are compliant and capable of expediting a great deal of loan modifications,” said Cheryl Lang, president and chief executive officer of IMS. “With more than 12 years of mortgage banking experience, Karen is a tremendous asset to our team, and we are pleased to have her as such an integral part of our group.” Prior to joining IMS, Binder held positions within Houston, Texas-based Stewart Lender Services, Inc. a wholly-owned subsidiary of Stewart Title Company. Her recent roles there included divisional director of marketing, assistant to the divisional general counsel and various positions within the title and settlement division. During her tenure at Stewart Lender Services, Binder was recognized as Employee of the Year for outstanding performance in 2005 and 2007. Binder earned a bachelor of science degree in Education from Buffalo State College and later continued her education at the University of Texas in Austin concentrating in Business Administration.
