John Ulzheimer joins LoanModDVD as consumer advisor

Aug 11, 2009

LoanModDVD has announced an agreement with nationally-recognized consumer credit expert John Ulzheimer of Credit.com. In his new advisory role for the company, Ulzheimer, an expert on credit reporting, credit scoring and identity theft, will counsel homeowners on how to successfully apply for loan modifications on their own, thereby saving their credit, along with their homes. As Consumer Advisor for LoanModDVD, Ulzheimer will also act as a commentator on the loan modification industry, following and reporting developments to consumers. Author and industry expert, Ulzheimer, has more than 17 years of experience in the consumer credit industry. Currently president of consumer education for Credit.com, he has previously held positions with Equifax Credit Information Services and Fair Isaac (inventors of the FICO credit scoring system). Working with LoanModDVD, he will bring his credit expertise to a new audience.  “So many distressed homeowners still believe that they have no choice but to foreclose on their homes, rather than try to deal with lenders,” said Ulzheimer. “I’ve seen credit ratings ruined by unnecessary foreclosures that could have been avoided, had the homeowner known how to apply for a loan modification. I’m excited to join forces with LoanModDVD to help educate borrowers as to their options.” “We are thrilled to have John join our team,” said Amir Fathi, co-founder of LoanModDVD. “He has become the go-to source of information for all credit-related issues. The media and the public rely upon him for accurate, up-to-date information and advice. His participation will help make consumers more savvy about navigating the loan modification process.” For more information, visit www.loanmoddvd.com.
