Consumer Mortgage Audit Center launches fulfillment division

Feb 09, 2010

As dropping interest rates push more Americans to refinance their mortgages, and as the FHA announces enhanced refinance guidelines to assist homeowners facing foreclosure, the Consumer Mortgage Audit Center has launched a fulfillment division to help banks and lenders handle more loan modification and refinancing requests, while reducing operating costs. “We’ve helped attorneys and lenders audit thousands of mortgage loans to identify and rectify violations—oftentimes fending-off the foreclosures that neither the lenders nor the homeowners want,” said Sylvia Alayon, vice president of operations for the Consumer Mortgage Audit Center. “We know lenders and servicers want to help their customers, while preventing the need to write-off bad debt. Due to our strong experience in the forensic mortgage analysis and diligence space, we have a very specialized offering that stands to give lenders additional back-end support during this very busy time for the mortgage industry.” The Consumer Mortgage Audit Center’s fulfillment division provides everything from forensic analysis and due diligence support on bulk buys to pre- and post-funding quality control reviews of individual loans. Customized services, reports and portfolio triage are available. “Because our clients have been asking for and receiving specialized fulfillment services from us for months, we know we’re equipped to handle the unique needs of each lender we deal with—a capability not readily available in today’s marketplace. Creating a stand alone division to satisfy that market need just made sense,” said Alayon. For more information, visit www.truthinaudits.com.
