Jul 23, 2010

BluFi Direct Mortgage, an online direct lender with no commissions, has named Sandy Simmons as its operations manager. Simmons is responsible for creating an infrastructure of policies and procedures for the organization, and hiring and training quality talent as BluFi continues its growth. She will report directly to BluFi Vice President Ken Emminger. Simmons’ background in the mortgage industry has prepared her well for the task of overseeing BluFi’s operations. She is a mortgage industry veteran with over 25 years experience, and worked for First Franklin Financial in San Diego for more than 16 years. Simmons held several positions at First Franklin including wholesale branch production manager where she was responsible for hiring and training all branch operation positions from customer service representatives to underwriters. Simmons was ultimately promoted to vice president, wholesale regional operations manager. “We’ve experienced extraordinary growth this past year due in part to our talented management team and that includes Sandy,” says BluFi Chief Executive Officer John Lee. “Her deep knowledge of the mortgage industry and track record of excellence as an operations manager will help guide our growth as we continue to hire and expand our operations team. Working with Sandy is a pleasure and we have already seen the benefits of her forward-thinking and expert knowledge of the industry.” For more information, visit www.BluFi.com.
