MortgageDashboard Adds Rory Lane as Director of Community Engagement

MortgageDashboard, an on-demand loan origination system (LOS) enabling straight-through, paperless mortgage processing for lenders, credit unions and banks, has announced the promotion of Rory Lane to director of community engagement. In his new role, Lane will oversee and contribute recurring content to holistically support customers and corporate objectives through social media. “We're thrilled to have Rory expand his position here,” said Rene Rodriguez, chief executive officer of MortgageDashboard. “He's the ideal candidate for this role and will be a valuable contributor to achieving our mission of being an indispensable growth partner to our clients.” Some of the duties Lane will assume as part of his new position will include interacting with customers on and through social networks, monitoring the company's reputation online, building out an online content distribution network, conducting keyword research and managing link building campaigns. MortgageDashboard is building an online community for its members where they can find anything from answers to questions about products to inspiration and ideas about how to grow their business. The community is situated on the company website under a special tab that leads to a blog, a learning center, an arcade and more. Lane will be responsible for building out this community and then supporting its members. “There are a number of companies in our space that sell software to loan originators,” said Rodriguez. “If we want our customers to be successful, as we truly do, then we must go beyond just providing a technology tool and also provide the training, marketing support and motivation that allows our customers to make best use of our technology.
