Global DMS Launches Appraisal Smartphone App

Apr 10, 2012

Global DMS has launched eTrac ATOM—Appraiser Tracking On Mobile—a new mobile application for appraisers. This new mobile application is part of the company’s continued commitment to developing and introducing the most progressive technologies to the appraisal industry. eTrac ATOM allows eTrac’s appraiser users to access full functionality of their eTrac appraisal management systems through any Android or Apple smartphone or tablet computer. Once logged in, eTrac ATOM users can see the status and details of every appraisal order in their pipelines, including the file number, borrower’s information, property address, lender, loan product, property type, client’s name, client’s contact phone number, vendor fees, and due date. Appraisers can use eTrac ATOM to accept, decline, cancel and close appraisal orders, as well as to place conditions on accepted orders, update order status and schedule inspections. eTrac ATOM can also sort orders according to user-defined categories, such as unaccepted orders, orders in progress, scheduled orders, and recently completed orders. In addition to its connectivity with the eTrac technology, eTrac ATOM is completely integrated with the features of today’s smartphones and tablet computers. Telephone and map icons allow single-tap access between eTrac ATOM and features like Google maps and the user’s mobile phone functions. Once users have accessed their order lists in the eTrac ATOM application, they simply tap on the map icon to get directions to the subject property. Clicking the phone icon will prompt the device to automatically call the borrower and log the call to the eTrac application. eTrac ATOM also leverages smartphone calendar functions that automatically sync property inspection dates and times to appraiser’s mobile calendars. “We created eTrac ATOM to give appraisers the fastest, easiest way to stay fully connected and up-to-date on all of their appraisal orders, whether they’re at their desks, onsite at an inspection, or literally anywhere in the world with access to a wifi connection or cellular data network,” said Vladimir Bien-Aime, chief executive officer of Global DMS. “Global DMS was created with the goal of giving appraisers anywhere access to the tools they need and now, over a decade later, we’re still aggressively moving forward with that goal. Our clients and partners know that when appraisers are given the tools to do their jobs better, faster, more economically and more efficiently, everyone in the transaction benefits—the AMC, lender, investor and the borrower.”
