Ernst Publishing Company has anounced the availability of custom mobile apps that provide estimated or guaranteed closing cost fee generation at the Point of Sale. The apps can be be branded for title companies and real estate brokerages that want to share pricing information with their agents. “Our data enables us provide something of a pre-GFE estimate for loan closing costs,” said Greg Teal, president and chief executive officer of Ernst Publishing. “Providing this information to consumers earlier in the process has proven to be key to improving the borrower experience, a top concern for our clients and everyone involved in the homebuying and financing processes.” The company expects its mobile tools to be useful to title agents, settlement agents, and real estate agents and brokers. The platform can be custom-built to specific brands and be used on a website or as an app on iPhones, iPads, Androids and Windows-based equipment. It is able to provide varying levels of accuracy in the estimates, from very rough to exact.
