Nationwide Title Clearing Inc. (MTC) has announced that Michael O’Connell, former vice president of client relations, has been promoted to chief operations officer (COO). O’Connell has been with the company for eight years, leading the sales and client relations teams. In his new role, O’Connell will be responsible for the daily operation of NTC’s delivery divisions totaling the majority of their 300-plus employee workforce. In addition to collaborating with and reporting to CEO John Hillman, O’Connell will be accountable for ensuring that NTC operations are of the highest quality and the company remains efficient. He will oversee the company divisions of client relations, finance, services delivery, including all research services and document production, and overall quality control (QC). “Michael understands that we are nothing short of obsessed with quality and accuracy and he will ensure that NTC remains diligent in our commitment to that ideal,” said Hillman. “I am very pleased that he has agreed to take on these additional responsibilities. Our company, our employees and our clients will all benefit from his leadership.” O’Connell will work with Hillman to develop productive uses of company resources and measurement metrics to drive performance for company operations. He will regularly conduct analyses of systems and procedures to ensure that NTC is operating at the highest possible quality level without sacrificing efficiency, and with the firm’s clients’ best interests in mind.
