Gil Lopez Named Regional Sales Manager of Correspondent Lending for New Penn

New Penn Financial LLC has named Gil Lopez as regional sales manager of correspondent lending. New Penn has made a number of management and staff hires in recent months and plans to continue hiring for 2013 and beyond. The company, based in the Philadelphia area, now employs more than 1,300 people. Lopez is charged with helping grow New Penn’s Correspondent channel including managing relationships with key accounts. New Penn offers proprietary portfolio products through its Correspondent channel. New Penn’s portfolio products help mortgage bankers originate quality loans which fall outside of conforming guidelines. Lopez brings in-depth and diverse mortgage industry experience to the position. Most recently, he was a principal and managing director of GL Consulting, LLC. Previous to that he was: senior vice president of national sales at National Real Estate Information Services; vice president, production, at Patriot Bank Mortgage; vice president at Credit Suisse Securities, USA; and regional sales director at Morgan Stanley. He has been involved in all facets of mortgage production and operations including sales and executive management, underwriting and mortgage program development across the retail, wholesale and correspondent spectrum. “Gil has increased revenue and built organizations throughout his career," said Lisa Schreiber, New Penn Financial VP of correspondent lending.
