GMH Mortgage Services LLC has announced the addition of Scott Medrow as senior vice president of its National Mortgage Center and Specialty Products Division.  GMH's Mortgage Center, which does business under the name "Credence Mortgage," has been a thriving segment of the business since 2010, with double-digit same store revenue growth from 2011 to 2012. "With the regional success we attained over the past couple of years in the retail call center space, we knew that, to exceed expectations of a nationwide consumer base, we would need a proven leader in the industry to ensure success. Scott not only fits the best in class cultural dynamic we are building at GMH, he also provides 'out of the box' thinking to what is generally perceived as a plain vanilla business model," said Joseph Macchione, chief executive officer of GMH Mortgage Services. "Scott will immediately begin recruiting, developing and training a dedicated team in targeted markets around the country, while also implementing new procedures and sales efficiencies through technology. Scott's previous success at both GMAC Mortgage and Chase Home Finance clearly displays his ability to cultivate and lead a team of mortgage professionals who will focus on our desire to provide the very best in concierge-like customer service to each and every one of our valued borrowers. We are excited to welcome him to the GMH Mortgage family." Medrow has over 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry and most recently worked at GMAC Mortgage in Fort Washington, Pa. where he was senior vice president and chief administration officer. While at GMAC, Medrow was responsible for the growth, profitability and market expansion of their national retail sales program. During Medrow's tenure at GMAC, he was instrumental in organically building the retail sales division from 0 to more than 150 loan officers and drove over $1 billion in sales in 2012. Prior to that, Medrow spent 15 years with Chase Home Finance (JP Morgan Chase) in several management and origination positions. "I'm excited to develop our mortgage into a nationally-recognized leader through enhanced technology, acute training and good old-fashioned sales motivation and technique," said Medrow. "When Joe and I first discussed the opportunity, what intrigued me most was GMH's desire to think bigger than simply building a typical call center origination platform."
