Ernst Publishing Recognized for Promoting Sustainable Business in Albany

May 21, 2013

Ernst Publishing Company has been selected for the 2013 Best of Albany Award in the Publishers category by the Albany Award Program. According to the presenters, this award is a result of the company’s dedication and efforts to build a sustainable business in Albany. “Each year, the Albany Award Program identifies companies that it believes have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category,” the presenters said in a release. “We focus on companies that have demonstrated their ability to use various marketing methods to grow their business in spite of difficult economic times. The companies chosen exemplify the best of small business; often leading through customer service and community involvement. These exceptional companies help make the Albany area a great place to live, work and play.” Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2013 Albany Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the Albany Award Program and data provided by third parties. “We’re proud to be called a local company in Albany, even though we serve a national client base, and we’re very proud of this award,” said Gregory E. Teal, president and chief executive officer of Ernst Publishing. “We believe strongly in our responsibility to be a good neighbor in the communities in which we work and to contribute what we can to help strengthen the economy here in Albany. This is a great place to live and work and we’ll continue to do our part to make it better.”
