VRM Mortgage Services Names Ed Hunter VP of Business Development

VRM Mortgage Services announced the appointment of Ed Hunter as vice president of business development. Hunter will lead and direct VRM’s go-to-market strategy and execution for new business development. His responsibilities will include creating and managing the company’s strategic business development plans, identifying industry trends and helping to oversee the solution development and sale of new business lines and services. “Ed has a unique ability to identify trends in our industry and translate that knowledge into the solutions our clients are searching for," said Effie Dennison, senior vice president of VRM Mortgage Services. “That type of forward thinking, combined with his proven track record of success makes him a perfect addition to the VRM team.” As a financial services industry veteran, Hunter has built and led sales and marketing teams that drive growth, client satisfaction and retention within emerging and existing markets. This includes managing client solution development and implementation for major banks, servicers, investors and capital market companies. Most recently, Hunter was the executive director of sales and marketing for Evaluation Solutions, a company specializing in residential real estate property valuations, reviews, reconciliations and due diligence. “I see an incredible opportunity in VRM and I am excited to be a part of the team,” said Hunter. “VRM is well positioned and its present and the future are very bright. I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to contribute to maintaining and growing VRM’s market share.”
