The StoneHill Group has grown significantly this year as mortgage lenders look for experienced partners to help balance workload and comply with new industry regulations being enacted by the CFPB. The firm announced the hiring of two additional critical positions to help manage growing demand for their services with the additions of Michael Atwell and Kristin Belcher. Atwell, a 28-year mortgage banking veteran, will handle sales in the Midwest, Northwest and Mountain states as StoneHill’s newest business development manager. Atwell's experience includes sales leadership roles at top wholesale and retail lenders including MetLife. Belcher has been brought on to the StoneHill team to lead their underwriting efforts and also manage the opening of a new Jacksonville service center. Belcher is also an experienced mortgage professional holding various team management roles at top financial institutions. “Mike and Kristin are proven leaders in their respected professions and will help us grow the company as we continue to provide top quality mortgage outsourcing solutions to the industry,” said David Green, president of The StoneHill Group. “As new regulations take effect and investor guidelines grow stricter, we need top experienced professionals to manage the growing needs of our customers and these additions to our team will help ensure our success.”
