Wade Hamby of The StoneHill Group Honored by the MBA of Florida

The StoneHill Group announced that Business Development Manager Wade Hamby received the Brown L. Whatley Award from the Mortgage Bankers Association of Florida during their 2013 Annual Convention. Since 1955, this prestigious award is presented to the most outstanding member of the year due to their contributions to the association and the industry in the state of Florida.
Hamby was chosen as the 2012-13 recipient for his continued commitment to the Association, his service on committees and by providing wisdom to the Association through difficult challenges as noted during the presentation ceremony. Brown L. Whatley was a respected member of the mortgage banking and real estate community during his decades of service. He served as a president of the Mortgage Bankers Association of America and helped develop the state association in Florida. Besides this award, Whatley is the namesake for a municipal park in Jacksonville, Florida.
