Julianne Ilstrup Joins Stonegate as SVP of Structured Finance

Stonegate Mortgage Corporation has announced the hiring of Julianne Ilstrup as senior vice president of structured finance. Ilstrup will work with the non-agency structured finance team to help establish a leadership position in the residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS) market where she will lead the effort to build Stonegate’s capabilities to execute private and public securitizations. Ilstrup will also serve as the main liaison with key securitization constituents and industry groups. She will report to Executive Vice President of Structured Finance Eric Scholtz. Ilstrup has more than 15 years’ experience in the industry and is a subject matter expert in financial law. She also excels in cross-functional project management, strategic planning and process implementation, and is recognized for her ability to accomplish key organizational goals. “We are excited to have Julianne joining our team,” said Scholtz. “She will assist in the development of best practice standards while maintaining transparency for investors from borrower to bond through our technology platform. I know that she will provide industry insight and dedication to her new role.”
