Lenders Compliance Group President Jonathan Foxx to Present Keynote at FAMP Annual Convention

Lenders Compliance Group Inc. (LCG) has announced that company founder Jonathan Foxx has been selected as the keynote speaker for the 2013 Florida Association of Mortgage Professionals (FAMP) Annual Convention & Trade Show, and will deliver his presentation, “Policies & Procedures for Non-Bank Mortgage Lenders and Independent Mortgage Professionals.” The FAMP Annual Convention & Trade Show is one of the nation’s largest state mortgage events, which will be held this year at Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel in Orlando, Fla. from July 31-Aug. 3. “I am honored to have been selected to deliver this address during a crucial time in the mortgage industry,” said Foxx of his keynote presentation. “I hope to provide those in attendance with a better understanding of what is expected of them with respect to core policies and procedures and how to remain compliant in the midst of a fast-changing regulatory environment.” Foxx is president and managing director of Lenders Compliance Group, a full-service, mortgage risk management firm, specializing exclusively in outsourced mortgage compliance and offering a full suite of services in residential mortgage banking for banks and non-banks. He also founded a sister company, Brokers Compliance Group, which provides compliance support specifically to independent mortgage professionals. Foxx has more than 35 years of experience in the operations of residential mortgage lenders and originators, and has served in the capacity of chief compliance officer for two publicly-traded financial institutions. He is a featured contributor to JDSupra and frequent speaker and participant at industry conferences and conventions. Jonathan holds a Ph.D. from Columbia University, and an MBA from the Wharton School. FAMP was founded in 1960 as the Florida Association of Mortgage Brokers. It was the first professional association for mortgage brokerage professionals to be established in the United States. FAMP has 4,000 members and 10 chapters around the Sunshine State with an open membership, welcoming the participation of all Florida-based mortgage professionals.
