Street Resource Group Inc. has opened a new executive office in Washington, D.C., located in the Evening Star Building on Pennsylvania Avenue, a trophy-class building listed in the National Register as a historic landmark. Street Resource Group provides software that automates the warehouse lending process for warehouse lenders and mortgage originators. “The opening of our new office in the nation’s capital is an important and exciting part of Street Resource Group’s ongoing expansion into international housing finance,” said Stanley Street, founder and president of Street Resource Group. “It also positions the company closer to legislative and government agency policymakers, as we become increasingly involved in mortgage industry advocacy.” Street Resource Group’s headquarters, along with its system engineering, product development and support staff for its flagship Warehouse Loan System (WLS), will remain in Atlanta, Ga. The new executive office caps off five straight years of growth for the company, which has seen its client base quadruple since 2010. Street Resource Group also has a long track record of thought leadership and advocacy in the warehouse lending space, frequently hosting seminars on housing finance issues and presenting at industry conferences. “By consistently focusing on product innovation and delivering superior service, Street Resource Group has dominated the warehouse lending software marketplace,” said Street. “With a proven formula for success and strong growth trajectory, we’re now ready to open a new chapter and become more closely involved in mortgage finance and housing issues in the U.S. and abroad.” Added Street: “Now that we have a presence in Washington, D.C., we look forward to hosting our clients during the Mortgage Bankers Association’s Annual Meeting in October.”
