Orion Financial Group Inc. has been named to Inc. magazine’s 32nd annual Inc. 500/5000, a list of the fastest-growing firms in the country. The list represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy—America’s independent entrepreneurs. Orion joins Fuhu, LivingSocial, Edible Arrangements, CDW and Lifelock, among other prominent brands featured on this year’s list. Companies such as Microsoft, Zappos, Intuit, Jamba Juice, Zipcar, Clif Bar, Vizio, Oracle, and many other well-known names gained early exposure as members of the Inc. 500/5000.
Orion, which provides real estate document recording services in every U.S. county nationwide, is ranked number 2,182 out of the 5,000 fastest-growing privately held companies and number 71 among Dallas, Texas-area companies. The ranking is based on a 169 percent increase in company revenues over the three year period from 2009 to 2012.
“Many of the most successful companies in America’s history have been on the Inc. 500/5000, so we’re absolutely thrilled to be on this prestigious list,” said Mike Wileman, president and CEO of Orion. “Since our inception in 1993, we’ve experienced steady growth, and the addition of new products and services in 2013 leaves Orion poised for further expansion in the years to come.”
According to Wileman, Orion has seen a 170 percent increase in the number of transactions it performs in the past five years alone, while its client base has tripled since 2008. Most recently, the company introduced i3, a software solution that streamlines and eases the often complex and difficult collateral file review process for mortgage investors.
