Indecomm Global Services has announced that Alice Alvey, senior vice president, Indecomm-Mortgage U, and Susan Schold, vice president, Client Solutions, have been selected to speak at MBA’s Risk Management and Quality Assurance Forum in Phoenix, Ariz. on Sept. 10-12, 2013. Alvey is conducting a workshop through CampusMBA on Manual Underwriting and Risk Analysis prior to the conference. “This workshop illustrates the gaps in automated underwriting, how manual underwriting is still in play, and the basics of risk analysis that every underwriter must understand to make sound and saleable quality lending decisions,” said Alvey. Schold is a speaker on a panel entitled Not Enough Underwriters: What’s the Solution? “The wheel has turned,” Schold said. “The housing market has begun a massive recovery. The headlines of a few years ago were all about the contraction in the industry and mortgage professionals scrambling to find jobs in a shrinking market. Now, the industry is looking to the future and trying to determine if we will be facing a labor shortage in the financial services lending arena.” Both are well positioned to address their topics. Alvey was a co-founder of Mortgage U, which was acquired by Indecomm this year. Schold has more than two decades of experience in the mortgage industry, ranging from origination to closing. “The recognition that Alice and Susan are receiving from the Mortgage Bankers Association is a tribute to the whole Indecomm team,” said Rajan Nair, President, Financial Services, Indecomm Global Services. “This type of thought leadership is what Indecomm does best, for our customers and our products.”
