CoreLogic Announces Partnership With INRIX

Nov 04, 2013

CoreLogic has announced a new agreement with INRIX, an international provider of traffic information and driver services, to offer integrated drive-time mapping services to CoreLogic multiple listing organization customers. Crowd-sourced from nearly 100 million vehicles, INRIX Drive Time uses typical speeds in traffic at various times of day on different days of the week to calculate the travel times between homes and any location at any time of day. Members of CoreLogic multiple listing organization customers that integrate INRIX Drive Time can use INRIX technology to search for real estate listings based on their client’s desired commute time to work -- a key criterion for many homebuyers. By entering additional locations that are important to their clients, members can also create maps of overlapping areas that visually identify subsets of suitable listings. The ability to search for new homes by typical drive times may also encourage fewer home showings per homes sold—a leading measure of industry efficiency. "This agreement with INRIX represents a major breakthrough in map-based searching,” said Chris Bennett, general manager of Real Estate Services for CoreLogic. “For years, real estate professionals have been limited to drawing boxes, circles or polygons on a map. With INRIX Drive Time, our multiple listing platforms can automatically draw search boundaries based on the locations that are most important to the client. By combining advanced drive-time technology with property data and other proprietary CoreLogic assets, we are pioneering the type of ‘lifestyle searching’ that today’s consumers are looking for.”
