Freedom Mortgage Corporation was presented with Inc. magazine’s 2013 Hire Power Award on November 12th at a ceremony held at the Marines' Memorial Club & Hotel in San Francisco.
The company, which was ranked #7 on the second annual list of private businesses that have generated the most jobs in the past 18 months, created 1,080 jobs from January 1st, 2012 to June 30th 2013, making it one of the highest-ranking private business job creators in the Eastern U.S.
Freedom Mortgage provides residential and commercial loans for purchase and refinance transactions. During the 18-month period that Inc. magazine evaluated each organization, Freedom Mortgage launched its commercial lending division, grew its retail production, and established a formal broker-to-banker program for its broker clients.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that only 222,000 full-time jobs were added in 2012—compare those numbers to the honorees of Inc. magazine’s Hire Power Awards, which created 69,182 jobs between January 1, 2012 and June 30, 2013.
