GSF Expands in Minnesota, Todd Hocum to Lead New Branch

GSF Mortgage is excited to announce their new branch in Alexandria, Minn. The addition will be overseen by Branch Manager Todd Hocum, and joining Hocum, is Leif Nohre and Bruce Strandskov. Hocum comes to GSF with 26 years of experience in the mortgage industry and an educational background in finance. He worked alongside Jim Guzanick, Phil Siebert and Brian Fiskum, the founders of GSF Mortgage, for many years. In 1995, they parted ways and each started their own mortgage company. With nearly 20 years of entrepreneurship under his belt, Hocum chose to join the GSF family. “There are a lot of net branches out there to work for, but I didn’t even have to look around,” said Hocum. Hocum is a licensed real estate broker and owns ERA Viking Realty. This is beneficial in both aspects of the industry, as referrals are crucial. Due to GSF having their own in-house processing team, Hocum says their branch will have more time to focus on the smaller details and be able to spend more time taking care of their customers. “We have done this forever and will continue to do so. We’ve seen it all and know our products. This is a big asset for our clients," said Hocum. “We are excited to have our Alexandria Branch on board and be able to continue our business relationship. Having solid business partner relationships helps us identify people we would like to add to our GSF family. That strategy allows us to grow in more positive ways. “
