Generation Mortgage Company continues to grow its retail sales team with the addition of two new loan officers. Laura Bopp now represents the company in Colorado, while Sean Reese is serving Generation customers in the state of Iowa. Both Bopp and Reese are managed by Generation’s Regional Retail Sales Manager Alicia Hahn.
“At Generation, we are working to expand our sales team by adding talented professionals who possess significant mortgage industry experience as well as a passion for helping seniors,” said Generation’s Chief Sales Officer Cheryl MacNally. “Laura and Sean each bring both of these qualities to their respective geographic areas, and we look forward to their contributions toward our sales team’s success.”
Bopp’s industry experience includes six years with HECM products and 11 years with conventional and non-conventional mortgage loans. Prior to joining Generation, she worked with several HECM providers, including Urban Financial Group, Genworth Financial and Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. In her spare time, Bopp volunteers at her local senior community center and Denver’s Meals on Wheels program.
Reese comes to Generation from Wells Fargo, where he held the roles of home preservation specialist, home renovation specialist and reverse mortgage consultant. Before his tenure at Wells Fargo, Reese owned his own business, Iowa Notary and Closing, which specialized in conversion mortgage closings, and he served as regional sales manager for E&P Automotive. Much of Reese’s 18-year career has focused on loan origination, including his work at Midwest Heritage Bank, Essential Mortgage and Kramer Mortgage.
