Mortgage Master has announced the hiring of Michael Cannatti as Texas regional manager. Cannatti, who has 37 years of mortgage industry experience, is being charged in his new role with attracting high quality mortgage originators, opening new full-service retail production branches, expanding production volumes and market share in Texas while providing some of the lowest pricing and best-in-class service to borrowers.

Cannatti brings to Mortgage Master 37 years of experience in the mortgage industry and significant knowledge of all aspects of mortgage banking including loan production, recruiting, credit and property underwriting, loan administration, areas of loss mitigation and property management. Cannatti has held leadership positions including Texas area manager at Cherry Creek Mortgage Corporation; director of executive recruiting at Network Funding; assistant vice president, production branch manager at Countrywide Home Loans; and executive vice president, sales and branch development at 1st Metropolitan Mortgage. During his career he also served as president of the Austin Mortgage Bankers Association and Chairman (FNMA/FHLMC/GNMA) at the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association.
