Churchill Goes On 2014 Hiring Spree, Adds 15 New Employees

After recruiting more than 100 employees last year and opening several new branches across the nation, Churchill Mortgage is kicking off the New Year by adding 15 new employees in California, Georgia, Mississippi, Oregon, Tennessee and Texas.
In Brentwood, Tenn., Churchill adds Samuel Elrod as an IT specialist, bringing more than 10 years of experience in developing and implementing specialized technologies. Also in Tennessee, the lender’s Chattanooga branch adds Sarah Townsend as a home loan specialist assistant.
In California, Churchill adds eight new staff to its newest branch in Orange. Paul Neuland and Dale Walker join as a home loan specialists, bringing nearly two decades of combined experience; Alfred Durr and Alexis Nunez join as customer care specialists; and Elaine Sanchez joins as a client services specialist. Patrece Zaid also joins the branch as a processing manager, providing the lender with more than a decade of industry expertise. Furthermore, the lender adds Diane Maxon and Sherry Ponce as loan processors.
The lender’s Kennesaw, Ga. branch adds Robin Wright as its newest home loan specialist, bringing more than 16 years of experience. In addition, Timothy Hett joins the Georgia branch as a new loan officer, also bringing more than 16 years of mortgage lending and banking experience. Hett is a member of the BNI Profit Builders in the Atlanta area, as well as the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce.
Churchill’s Tupelo, Miss. branch adds Lisa Gilland as its newest loan originator, bringing more than 20 years of experience. In addition, Carlos Gutierrez joins the Houston branch as a loan officer and home loan specialist with eight years of industry experience. Churchill’s Portland branch adds Peter Sweeney, also as a loan officer. Sweeney brings more than 24 years of experience and is an active member of his local Chamber of Commerce.
