LandCastle Title LLC, the title company of Morris|Hardwick|Schneider, one of the largest real estate law firms in the United States, announced today the establishment of its new vendor management division, LandCastle Lender Services. The division will allow clients to use LandCastle Title as a one-stop operation for closing services, title services and appraisal services in all 50 states.
The new division is another step toward LandCastle Title and M|H|S goal of providing end-to-end real estate closing services nationally.
"LandCastle Title is focused on expanding its service offerings in response to client needs and reaching into new states," said Nat Hardwick, LandCastle Title CEO. "LandCastle Lender Services brings our brand and what it stands for--exceptional customer service, quality and efficiency to the vendor management industry and enables LandCastle Title to deliver top-notch closing services across the entire United States."
Using an optimized, Web-based ordering system, clients are able to place title, closing and appraisal orders using a unique login and password. Clients are also able to follow the progress of orders from start to finish with current status updates and may retrieve title and appraisal products online. Utilizing high-tech solutions, LandCastle Title is able to offer very quick and efficient turnaround times for title and appraisal products.
"Our service is both high-tech and high-touch. Our clients don't have to sacrifice relationships for technology," said Hardwick. "Throughout the entire service process, if clients have questions, there will always be primary contacts available who are actively engaged in the service provided. This means there is no waiting on hold for a representative and no worrying about your request sitting in an inbox because someone is out on vacation."
Lynne Sparks, LandCastle Title president of vendor management, will manage the operations of LandCastle Lender Services. She has spent her entire 20-year practice handling residential closings, including managing her own real estate practice. She joined M|H|S in 1997.
"LandCastle Lender Services is one of the few vendor management companies owned and supervised by attorneys," said Sparks. "This means that clients receive high-quality service that adheres to local real estate law. Our legal expertise adds another level of compliance and integrity to the closing process for our clients."
Richard Miller, LandCastle Title president of national business development, will oversee the business development efforts of the new division. Since joining M|H|S in 1994, he has opened offices in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida and has a keen understanding of the needs of lenders operating on a multi-state platform.
"By listening to our clients, we identified a need for a greater level of service, compliance, efficiency and professionalism in vendor management," said Miller. "LandCastle Lender Services is designed to bring the hallmarks of the LandCastle Title brand of service to the vendor management world."
Habib Shahen, LandCastle Title vice president of vendor management, will manage the technology and operations of LandCastle Lender Services. He has 17 years of vendor management experience.
"This division will be managed by seasoned attorneys and staff with extensive experience in vendor management and real estate closings," said Hardwick. "They know what clients need and will deliver time after time."
LandCastle Lender Services will operate under the title company's service BASICS, a written commitment that guarantees exceptional customer service through concrete guidelines such as returning all phone calls and e-mails within two hours, meeting all promised deadlines, and completing title commitments and sending them to the client within 24 hours of receipt of title.
