BMC Mortgage Services Inc. has changed its name to Southwest Bank Mortgage to reflect its identity as a division of Southwest Bank, one of the the largest, locally-owned, independent commercial banks in Tarrant County, Texas.
"We're excited about the name change, and more importantly, to have the backing of such a strong, independent financial institution as Southwest Bank in today's market, said Cue Lipscomb, co-president of Southwest Bank Mortgage.
Southwest Bank acquired BMC Mortgage Services in December 2007. BMC's owners, Lipscomb and Marshall Boyd, both remained as co-presidents. Southwest Bank Mortgage has grown its portfolio by about 20 to 25 percent since the acquisition, according to Lipscomb. Southwest Bank Mortgage has offices in Fort Worth and Austin.
Southwest Bank Mortgage is a full-service mortgage division with highly experienced loan officers, including several with masters degrees in business. It offers a full range of products including cash-out, reserve mortgages, lot loans, HELOC, and conventional loans and provides underwriting, closing and funding services. Southwest Bank Mortgage's newest product is a portfolio jumbo loan for amounts greater than $417,000 at very competitive rates.
