Mortgage Network Continues to Grow in 2014

Mar 25, 2014

Mortgage Network Inc. has moved up the rankings of two New England housing agencies and a Pennsylvania housing agency that provide first-time and low- and moderate-income borrowers with affordable financing options. Mortgage Network is now the top-producing lender of affordable mortgage products under the Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency (MassHousing), moving up from the number two spot a year ago. In addition, the company is the fifth largest provider of affordable mortgages with the New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority and the fifth largest lender with the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency, where it ranked tenth a year before. “Helping first-time buyers has been a focus of our company since day one, so we are delighted to see our commitment reflected in the latest rankings,” said Brian Koss, executive vice president of Mortgage Network. “As the housing market continues to recover, affordability has become an issue for many potential buyers. Affordable housing programs in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and New Hampshire are important tools that provide sensible financing options to borrowers who would otherwise have trouble buying their own home, and have been a significant part of our business.” In addition to the latest rankings, Mortgage Network was the top-producing lender in 2013 with MassHousing in both Hamden and Essex counties, while Jane Jordan, the branch manager of Mortgage Network’s Laconia, New Hampshire office, was the second-ranked originator under the New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority, up from third in 2012.
