LDWholesale Names Jack O'Brien VP, East Regional Sales Manager
LDWholesale, the third-party origination division of loanDepot LLC, has announced that Jack O'Brien has joined LDWholesale as vice president, east regional sales. O'Brien brings more than 25 years of industry experience in both retail and third-party origination lending. Most recently, he had been the northeast regional manager of Fifth Third Bank's Wholesale division; prior to Fifth Third, O'Brien was vice president, east regional sales manager for National City's Wholesale Home Equity business unit.
As vice president of east regional sales, O'Brien will be responsible for recruiting, hiring and managing the account executive teams in the Northeast and Southeast regions. He reports directly to Jeff Walsh, president of LDWholesale.

He has an excellent track record for growing a team of high performers who understand the needs of today's busy and successful mortgage broker," Walsh said. With the appointment of Jack O'Brien, LDWholesale also announced that Susan Angel, Chris Hartke, Rob Volko, Steve Bavaro and Dave Johnson have all joined LDWholesale as account executives in order to meet the growing needs of business demands on the East Coast.
Angel will manage the North and Central New Jersey markets. She was most recently an account executive at Fifth Third Bank's Wholesale Lending unit. Prior to that, Angel was a successful account executive at Chase Manhattan Home Equity from 1997-2008.
Hartke will manage the Maryland and Washington D.C. area markets as an account executive. Prior to joining LDWholesale, Hartke served as an account executive at Fifth Third Bank.
Volko will build and manage the Eastern Pennsylvania, South New Jersey and Delaware markets. Prior to joining LDWholesale, Volko led the correspondent division of Meridian Bank, served as an account executive for M&T Bank's third-party lending division as well as National City's Wholesale Home Equity division.
Bavaro will lead the downstate New York market. Prior to joining LDWholesale, Bavaro most recently served at New Penn Financial as an account executive. He was previously an account executive at Fifth Third Bank as well as National City's Wholesale Home Equity division.
Johnson will lead the business development efforts in Virginia. Prior to joining LDWholesale, Johnson served as an account executive at Fifth Third Bank's Wholesale Lending unit and was an account executive with EquiFirst.
