Scott Finklea to Lead First GSF Mortgage Branch in Louisiana

GSF Mortgage has announced the addition of Scott Finklea as branch manager in Mandeville, La.

GSF Mortgage has announced the addition of Scott Finklea as branch manager in Mandeville, La., joining the company with 13 years of mortgage industry experience. This is the company’s first branch in the state of Louisiana, and they are excited to increase their footprint in the South.

Finklea was a manager at a large bank for many years where he became interested in the mortgage side of the industry. He finds mortgage lending gratifying because the industry is ever-changing and he enjoys helping people buy a home.

Finklea says that mortgages are not like a fast food drive thru–every borrower has a unique situation that doesn’t necessarily fit on a menu. He believes in transparency and tries to answer all of the questions before the borrower has to ask. He makes the home buying process as seamless and comfortable as he can.

“I am pleased to welcome Scott Finklea to our family. He brings an unparalleled energy and passion for the business. We look forward to helping him expand his business in Louisiana,” said GSF Regional Manager Mike Maida.
