Embrace Home Loans Presents Donation to The Confetti Foundation

May 17, 2016

Embrace Home Loans recently presented Stephanie Frazier Grimm, founder of The Confetti Foundation, a check for $1,000 at a ceremony held at the non-profit’s Newport, R.I. headquarters. Keith Pyatak, a team leader at Embrace, along with loan officers Ambrose Ling, Kristy Dumont and Lenny Palizza were on hand for the presentation, which took place on Thames Street in Newport.

"At Embrace Home Loans, we believe in caring for not only our own, but our community as well,” said Pyatak. “What Stephanie and her crew at the Confetti Foundation are doing—bringing celebration and joy to children stuck in hospitals on their birthdaysis amazing! It's a phenomenal way for them to give care when it's needed the most and it’s directly in line with our values and culture here at Embrace. It makes me proud that we're able to support such a worthy cause within our community.”

Stephanie Frazier Grimm, who founded the charitable organization in 2014, was grateful and appreciative for the mortgage lender’s tradition of giving.

"We depend so much on our community to share our mission,” said Grimm. “Having Embrace Home Loans’ employees bring happiness through celebration shows their commitment to supporting their neighbors."

Embrace Home Loans raises funds on a daily basis through its Wear for Care program, which allows employees to wear jeans for a day, provided they make a minimum $2 donation. Wear for CareTM was started during a meeting on company innovation in Embrace’s Marketing Department. Without permission, rules or policies, they developed and ran a pilot, which went viral. Now, all employees are able to participate and raise money for people and organizations they are passionate about, and this program has now been introduced to Embrace’s real estate agent and builder partners.

Embrace employees have helped support local families in need, school supply drives, the families of active military members, and friends or families of Embrace employees, who have had sudden emergencies such as a medical crisis, to name just a few. Embrace has raised thousands of dollars through this simple tradition of giving.

Jennifer O’Neil, Embrace’s creative director, said, “This is our brand and our culture. This is what Embrace is all about—our people and how they are dedicated to helping others in our communities.”
