Cari McCue LaMere Named EVP of Operations for Starkey Mortgage

WR Starkey Mortgage LLP has announced it would officially rename the company Certainty Home Loans LLC and launch a complete rebrand

Starkey Mortgage has announced that Cari McCue LaMere has joined the company as executive vice president of national operations. LaMere will focus on the day-to-day process for better and faster workflow efficiency and to foster a seamless flow between production and operations. She is directly responsible for the processing, closing and disclosure departments.

“Cari is an accomplished executive who brings a passion for the industry combined with a wealth of knowledge and diverse experiences in the mortgage business to Starkey,” said Jim Clapp, president and CFO of Starkey Mortgage. “One quality that stands out about Cari is her willingness to listen in difficult situations to make the best decisions for our customers and her team. Starkey is growing and we need people with Cari’s experience and fresh perspective to take us to the next level.”

LaMere joins Starkey Mortgage with 20-plus years of experience in sales production, operations, servicing, compliance and secondary marketing. She worked at Guardian Mortgage for more than 17 years, most recently as chief operating officer. She is based in Plano, Texas and will report directly to Jim Clapp, president and CFO of Starkey Mortgage.
