In January 2012, Rear Admiral Thomas Lynch assumed the role Chairman of the Board of Directors at NewDay USA, a nationwide mortgage company focused on helping veterans find the right and responsible mortgage solution

NewDay USA has announced that Regina Lowrie, former chairman of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) and Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB), has been appointed to the Board of Advisors of Chrysalis Holdings LLC, a private investment company focused on mortgage banking and financial services. A key member of the Chrysalis Holdings family of companies, NewDay USA is one of the top companies in the industry serving the mortgage banking needs of veterans and active members of the armed services.

"We are immensely proud that Regina Lowrie has agreed to join the Chrysalis Holdings Board of Advisors," said Rear Admiral Tom Lynch (USN, Ret.), chairman of NewDay USA. "Regina is a renowned industry expert with more than thirty years of experience in all aspects of mortgage banking. She brings exceptional leadership abilities and knowledge to NewDay USA and Chrysalis Holdings. It is an honor to have her serve on our Board of Advisors."

Lowrie currently serves as president and CEO of RML Advisors LLC, an independent consultant and advisory firm that provides a broad range of mortgage industry-related services to the financial services community.

"It is gratifying to be part of NewDay, which provides support for veterans, active duty service members and military families," Lowrie said. "I am pleased to be a member of the company leadership team and look forward to contributing to its efforts to help military families achieve and sustain homeownership, as well as to its other financial goals.”

Prior to founding RML Advisors, Lowrie served as president of Vision Mortgage Capital, a division of Continental Bank, and as senior vice president of Continental Bank. Earlier in her career, she founded and served as president and CEO of Gateway Funding Diversified Mortgage Services, where she grew the company from seven employees to 800 employees with 57 branch offices licensed in 42 states.

"We are extremely pleased to have Regina Lowrie join us," said Rob Posner, CEO of NewDay USA and Chrysalis Holdings. "As we look to build the leading mortgage company serving our nation's veterans and active servicemen and women, I know the leadership team at NewDay will benefit immensely from Regina's experience as a strategic thinker and leader. Regina's leadership will be invaluable in further expanding our purchase business to help active military and veteran families achieve the American Dream. Her involvement in developing the next generation of mortgage bankers will be very impactful for our company."
