Silver Hill Funding, a division of Bayview Loan Servicing LLC, has announced that they will now offer 80 percent loan-to-value (LTV) financing on small-balance commercial mortgages

Silver Hill Funding, a division of Bayview Loan Servicing LLC, has announced the addition of Jeremy R. Irwin as the company’s vice president of business development. In his new role, Irwin will create new opportunities for growth and strengthen relationships with Silver Hill’s broker partners.

As a results-oriented, senior commercial real estate finance professional with more than 12 years of experience, Irwin’s areas of expertise include credit, operations, institutional sales, sales management, relationship management, contract negotiations and capital markets. Along with being proficient in all areas of real estate-related credit analysis, Jeremy has a proven track record of helping organizations grow production.

“Jeremy will make an immediate impact at Silver Hill as he develops strong correspondent relationships with brokerages across the country,” said Leslie Smith, managing director of Silver Hill Funding. “We’re excited to see the impact he will make while growing our business and that of our partners.”

Irwin was most recently a founding member and corporate officer at Cherrywood Commercial Lending LLC, a small-balance commercial mortgage origination, securitization and finance company. While at Cherrywood Commercial, he served in the capacity of managing director and oversaw multiple areas of the business. He was instrumental in the development and finalization of credit related policies and procedures and underwriting guidelines for the company’s core product offering and developed alternative non-core lending products to supplement the company’s core lending strategy.

“The experience of Silver Hill’s team and the variety of small-balance commercial products they offer make them a smart choice for commercial mortgage brokers and their clients,” said Irwin. “I look forward to using my experience to create more opportunities for their success.”
