Richard Juergens Presented With MBA Education’s Rosser Lifetime Achievement Award

The Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) has presented Richard Juergens, Master CMB, with its E. Michael Rosser, CMB, MBA Education Lifetime Achievement Award

The Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) has presented Richard Juergens, Master CMB, with its E. Michael Rosser, CMB, MBA Education Lifetime Achievement Award, presented to an individual who has shown outstanding service to the MBA, Certified Mortgage Bankers Society and the real estate finance industry.

“Dick’s commitment to industry education is reflected both by his impressive professional development credentials, as well as his dedication towards teaching the next generation of mortgage professionals,” said Rodrigo López, CMB, MBA chairman and executive chairman of NorthMarq Capital. “His depth of industry knowledge covers both the residential as well as commercial/multifamily sectors and is reflected in the numerous awards he has received for his longstanding commitment to excellence.”

Juergens is the senior managing director of Phillips Realty Capital in Bethesda, Md. He received his Master CMB on Nov. 21, 2000, holds both disciplines (Residential and Commercial), and served as chairman of the CMB Society in 2004.

He is active with the Mortgage Bankers Association of Metropolitan Washington, where he served as president in 1986 and on the board of directors from 1984 to 1987. He was awarded the "Commercial Banker of the Year" for 2000 by that organization. Juergens is also an active member of the MBA, and in 1998, received the MBA’s Master Faculty Fellow Award, given to instructors who dedicate significant time and other resources to MBA's education programs.
