Churchill Mortgage has expanded into Northern California with the opening of its third branch in the state in Yuba City, Calif.

In September, Yuba City was recognized among Realtor.com’s “20 Hottest Markets” in the U.S., based on the number of days a home spent on the market and the number of views each listing received on Realtor.com. The lender’s newest branch ensures that its services will be available to borrowers in the greater Sacramento area.

Nick Williams, area manager for Churchill Mortgage in California, will leverage more than two decades of industry experience to lead the branch. In addition, Home Loan Specialist Willie Willis and Client Experience Manager Janell Willis will work with local homebuyers and borrowers to advise them on the best mortgage product for their needs. The lender established its presence in California with the opening of its first branch in the state in Orange, Calif. in January 2014, which Williams also manages. In June 2015, Churchill opened its second branch in San Diego.

“Northern California boasts beautiful landscapes and climate, making it a very attractive place for prospective homebuyers,” said Mike Hardwick, president of Churchill Mortgage. “The state is also the largest in the country in terms of population and third-largest in size. Establishing a branch in Yuba City provides us with a local presence, which is critical to our ability to serve borrowers and make the real American dream of homeownership available to a larger set of families and individuals.”
